One of the biggest struggles I find from growing my hair out is keeping it healthy. I have been fortunate to have thick and fast-growing hair; however, with regular dying and hot tools, I haven’t been able to avoid dry and unmanageable ends.
Over the years, I have tried so many shampoos, conditioners, masks and treatments to switch up my hair routine. While said to be only a ‘hair myth’, I, like some people find my hair becomes immune to using the same shampoo and conditioner regularly but this can simply mean you are using the wrong ones.

First of all, what’s all the buzz about?
JSHealth is well-loved for its vitamins and supplements range, with best-selling products like Vitality X Collagen and Hair + Energy Formula. The range contains a Purifying Vitamin Shampoo and a Nourishing Vitamin Conditioner. JSHealth has enriched both formulas with the bespoke bio-restorative JSH Miracle Hair Complex ™. This results-focused blend is designed to transform hair from root to tip, with 7 carefully curated ingredients including vegan keratin that are proven to enhance, nourish, hydrate, and repair strands, plus support scalp health.
Some of the aforementioned ingredients include pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin C, this duo provides advanced protection for your hair while deeply moisturising and conditioning it. Calendula extract soothes the scalp while avocado oil smoothes the hair cuticle for a glossy shine.

The Shampoo
The shampoo is of course the first step in the routine as is designed to give your hair a thorough cleanse and remove build-up, dirt, and whatever your hair has been exposed to since your last wash.
The shampoo is designed to support scalp and hair health while adding shine, hydration, and softening hair.
The purifying shampoo has a clear, gel consistency similar to other clarifying shampoos I have used. I found my hair felt squeaky clean after lathering and rinsing out the shampoo.
The Conditioner
The conditioner complements the shampoo perfectly, in that it’s the perfect hit of hydrating creaminess to the squeaky clean hair.
The conditioner uses an advanced nutrient molecule delivery system to deeply infuse hair and scalp with restorative and shine-enhancing actives. The conditioner helps to detangle, moisturise and repair the hair leaving it feeling glossy and smooth.
The conditioner has a thick, creamy consistency that was easy to apply to the hair. Some people advise not to put conditioner on your scalp, however, I did with the Nourishing Vitamin Conditioner as it’s designed to improve hair and scalp health, and found that my hair did not feel weighed down as you can experience with some conditioners.
My Thoughts
Since using the products for a few weeks I have noticed a few things:
The Shine – my hair has noticeably greater shine and luminosity.
Looks and Feels Healthier – the ends of my hair feel stronger and healthier. I have been able to let my hair grow longer without the need for chop due to dry ends and frizz.
Extended My Wash Routine – I have been able to extend my regular wash routine. My hair feels very clean and manages to stay that way for longer than I was able to on my last shampoo and conditioner.
Downsides and Considerations
- Not for everyone: As mentioned, the shampoo is basically a detox shampoo. Your hair will be squeaky clean from using it. Therefore, I think this would be a great duo for those with oily hair types, however, if you have dry or damaged hair, this may be too stripping.
- Price:
While it’s on par with brands like Kerastase, Redken, Pureology and many others, some may find paying almost $70 for shampoo and conditioner out of their budget. That said, these products lasted me months.

Given the thickness of the conditioner, I found it really hard to squeeze out of the bottle – especially with wet hands in the shower.
