Mascara is a non-negotiable in my makeup routine thanks to my super straight natural lashes.
A good mascara in my books is one that can make your eyes pop, not be too drying or flaking, no clumping or smudging and hold curl and definition no matter what the day throws at you.
The Lash Sculpt Mascara from Anastasia Beverly Hills promises all of the above.
While it has only recently been released, users already find this mascara to be a ‘game-changer’ creating incredible length and definition. I put it to the test and see how it holds up against tried and true mascaras.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Sculpt Mascara Review
What is the Lash Sculpt Mascara?
The Lash Scult Mascara is a new release from Anastasia Beverly Hills, the experts in all things brows and lashes.
Unlike their Lash Brag Volumizing Mascara, this claims to create a ‘falsies’ effect, both volumizing and lengthening the lashes.
Lash Sculpt is a longwear mascara that works to stretch and sculpt the lashes without flaking, clumping, or smudging.
It has an intensely pigmented black colour and a formula enriched with collagen, biotin and peptides to nourish the lashes.
Packaging & Wand
First impressions, it comes in a sleek compact tube that looks and feels luxe. I like that the tube is secured well to avoid it drying out and keeping the formula fresh.
In contrast to Lash Brag’s hourglass-shaped wand, Lash Sculpt has a tapered wand that allows you to reach the inner and outer corners of your eyes.
Application Experience
In terms of application, the mascara has a wet consistency, however, it dries quickly – so you will need to work fast!
I personally found that you only needed one coat to get my desired look. That one coat alone created serious length, lift and volume. If you try to apply more it does build to a ‘clumpy’ look.
Overall, it was very easy to apply and thanks to the large bristles it did work well to separate and comb the lashes.
How to Apply the Lash Sculpt Mascara
- Before applying the mascara, I used my lash curler to give them a little lift.
- Then starting at the root of the lash, work towards the lash tip by wiggling the brush horizontally for separation and length.
- Use the tapered end of the brush tip to apply to the inner and outer corners.
- Apply further coats depending on your desired length and volume — again, my preference was one coat but you can do what works for you.
How did it perform?
Longevity: Even on a hot Sydney day I found this didn’t smudge or transfer to my eyelids. I think this is down to the fast-drying formula. It held up wearing it throughout the day – my extremely straight lashes didn’t drop which they typically do.
Volume and Length: It is hard to argue with the volume and length this mascara provides. I was seriously impressed and believe it does create an extension-like effect. It enhances and extends your lashes to give them a natural, yet accentuated look.
Removal: It was incredibly easy to remove the mascara with a makeup remover, balm cleanser or micellar water.
Price Point and Value
At AUD $46.00, it’s definitely a little more expensive than a mascara you would find a Priceline or Chemist Warehouse, but it’s more affordable than luxury brands like YSL and Dior. If you want to compare, check out our other article on the best mascaras for volume and length.
If you’re looking for a mid-range mascara that provides noticeably longer and more voluminous lashes this is a great pick.

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Sculpt Mascara is a promising new contender in the mascara realm and I can see this one quickly becoming a cult fave.
