Light Glow and super hydrating

Gemma

This is a nice tanning mousse as it is very light and super hydrating - my skin stayed hydrated for days. Not really what I was expecting as I like a nice dark ...

    Shae

I’ve used this tan for years. I have fair skin with a pink undertone and this is the best colour I have ever used. It’s easy to use, doesn’t smell too bad and wears really really well. Not for those who want a super deep colour but amazing for a natural look especially for weddings or photo shoots.
  2. Unimpressed. Waste of time and money.

    Ciara

I had high hopes but unfortunately was very underwhelmed - could be that I have pale skin as this isn't suitable though. It recommends you apply THREE times with 8 hours in between (one session of self tanning is enough of a chore). It also smells like the first tan I ever bought from David Jones in 1994 and was the same tangerine colour too. I was also only this lovely colour for about 6 days (wi...

  3. Natural!

Super natural looking tan and easy to apply! Definitely will be a staple during these cold months!
  4. Great!

    S

Lovely self tanner, Gives such a nice summer glow without being too orange. It does last quite well but I wouldnt say it lasts 2-3 weeks
  5. Do love, but not head over heels love yet.. might get dark next.

    Rachel.23

I was impressed with the overall tan experience, absorbs quickly doesn't smell too bad and does last longer than others not necessarily the time frame it states tho. If I purchase again I would get the dark as the medium is a little on the light side.
  6. So so so good!!

    J

I’m a huge huge fan of this. I’ve been using it for a while and can’t go without it anymore. Love it!
  7. Good

    Tia

I use this on my arms and legs and they look so healthy and sexy but only lasts me one week
  8. One of my favourites!

    Belle

I have used many different fake tans and mouses, but this one is one of my favourites, because it leaves such a beautiful finish. I'm not big on being super duper dark when I fake tan, purely because when it fades I look like a tiger roll. So this is a really nice colour and finish for my skin tone. There's no obnoxious smell where it stinks like DHA and fake coconut. I can't use intensely fragran...

  9. Light Glow and super hydrating

    Gemma

This is a nice tanning mousse as it is very light and super hydrating - my skin stayed hydrated for days. Not really what I was expecting as I like a nice dark bronzer tan however provides a very light glow.
  10. Use on legs for best look!

    E

I use on my legs and it gives my legs the most beautiful, sexy, tanned look, perfect for winter!
  11. Not worth the price tag

    Ashleigh

I decided to splash out on this expensive tan as I was going on a holiday and read that it last 2-3 weeks. However I did what the description said to do and applied it 3 times and it only lasted about 5-6 days, no where near the amount it said it would last. I do admit though when it faded it wasn't so streaky like other tans are but I'll definitely be sticking to loving tan and not this product.
  12. Hmmmm

    M

Well it doesn't last on me as long as it is stated to. Seems to crack up on skin after 3 days and look blotchy. Colour when it is freshly done looks really pretty though
  13. happy

    Chen

I highly recommend doing a thorough exfoliation beforehand because it will show if you didn't exfoliate everywhere, but when it's on well-exfoliated skin it looks even and stays even for a week! The only thing I wish is that the colour would be a bit more of a golden/caramel brown, however that is personal preference. The colour still looks good and isn't orange, I'm just being picky.
  14. Lasted 3 days

    Lola

Very disappointed by this product. I have used it twice, following all the instructions. The tan lasted for the 3 days that I was continually reapplying it, then disappeared completely. The bottle is almost empty after these two failed attempts, so essentially I’ve paid over $40 per attempt, and only looked tanned while the product was waiting to be washed off. Waste of money.
  15. Doesnt last 2-3 weeks as promised!

    G.

Definitely doesnt last 2-3 weeks but its a good self tanner, probably not worth the high price though as there are many other mousses out there that do a good job.
  16. Almost invisible and not long lasting

    Amy

I am a seasoned tanner and have used many different products.

Vita Liberata does not deliver on their promise of a tan that lasts for 2-3 weeks.

The amount of effort required to get even a medium depth tan (4 applications) meant that I used close to 1/2 a bottle for just one tan.

The concept that it lasts for 2-3 weeks is absurd - it lasted no longer than ...

  17. Good but pricey

    Car

I had heard great things about this product internationally so was excited to try it however the price was very expensive and I didn't think it was any better than competitor brands
  18. Nothing special - just another good tanning lotion

    Ellie

The colour looks great! But nothing special to justify the high price.

It's a sticky lotion as any other tanning product so you'll need to allow some time to dry before getting dressed or going to bed.

I only applied it once and it lasted a good week. I have a pale skin so the medium colour was really great and noticeable.
  19. Love it

    Jess

I’m quite pale naturally so was concerned this tan might be too dark for me, but it’s not at all. I layered this over a period of 3 days with a shower in between each layer. I would say it lasts about 2 weeks and when it fades it fades really naturally. Definitely give it a go though!
  20. Unsure about this product

    Kate

This is by FAR the most expensive tanning product I’ve ever bought, but I thought that if it lasted 2-3 weeks it’s would be worth the investment. Unfortunately it lasted one week only so it just isn’t worth the money.
On the plus side, it dried really quickly, was way less sticky than other products I’ve tried, gives a truly beautiful natural colour and faded really evenly.
    I bought m...

  21. Nothing phenomenal about it

    Stacey

Let’s cut to the chase- It does not last anywhere near two weeks. No longer than any other tanning product. Lovely colour thought. Definitely not worth the money or the time it took to apply three layers.
  22. Not Impressed

    Stevie

So I bought this product and I'm super unimpressed.
    1. It's not at all dark - and I bought "dark"
    2. It's sticky and has a smell.
    3. It does not last three weeks - it went scaly after a few days just like Bondi sands and BS is 1/4 of the price.

I actually loved the colour guard colour more than the developed colour, because there wasn't much of a developed colour....

  23. Expensive and useless

    Imogen

I had read all the reviews raving about this product on this and other sites. I bought it in two colours, thinking that three applications might leave me looking a little too dark. I needn't have worried. The dark isn't that dark AND it doesn't. Yes, it was quick drying, but yes it does stain sheets. No it does not last 2 weeks. It barely lasted 3 days! As for the medium colour - well, I may as we...

  24. Great tan but omg the price!

    Catherine

This is a great tan. Goes on smoothly with no streaks. Lovely colour- and the guide is a nice colour too. I am fairly fair and used medium. Still needed a second coat on my legs. The two to three weeks claim requires the applications which I have not tried. It does last fairly well but not three weeks with two coats anyway. Fades nicely without being patchy. I do like it but it is so pricey I have...

  25. Had high hopes but was disappointed

    Emily

This tan went on really easy, dried quickly and didn’t have a strong smell which was great but overall I was very disappointed. I’m pale and got the dark tan. I followed the instructions and applied 3 times. However, I could barely notice any difference in colour. Also couldn’t tell how long it lasted as I couldn’t see the tan.
  26. Slightly disappointed

    kathryn

Ok so I did what the bottle says, exfoliate and apply 3 times with 4-8 hours in between. My last application I went all night with it on. It applies easily, smell is subtle with no streaking. I had the dark and it gave me a nice natural glow. Was very happy to begin with but I have now got to day 9 and my tan has pretty much faded back to my pale skin. One plus is it hasn’t gone patchy.... just fa...

  27. Worth its weight in gold!

    Amanda

I hate my pasty skin and the only thing I hate more, is fake tan.
I’ve tried everything; Bondi sands, lovely tan, James reed, mine tan, fake bake, Le tan, St Tropez and more. I was very skeptical to try this because of the price but I thought, let’s try. Best $85 I have EVER spent.
My skin is NC10 in Mac, so I’m very pale. All other tans on my skin looked too caramel and fake. They l...

  28. Great tan but expensive

    Megan

I tried the medium first, and this literally did no difference to my pale skin. You definitely need the dark and a few layers of it to see a difference. It is great though because there is no fake tan smell afterwards and it really does last much longer than other tans. However, super expensive for what it is, and you do go through it quickly seeing as you have to do more than one layer.
  29. Natural Glow!

    Tamara (Adore Beauty Staff)

As a frequent tanner, I'm always on the look out for new and better options. I'm a big fan of Loving Tan so when asked to try Vita Liberata I went in thinking that it can't possibly be as good. My mind has been changed! The Vita Liberata pHenomenal tan goes on so easily, drying so quickly that I can hop straight into bed after IN MY PALE PINK SHEETS! This is a big game changer for me as I'm always...
